One of the most common sights on the roads of the Caribbean are signs that offer information about excess baggage to Netherland. When the aeroplane lands at the Caribbean airports, officials collect the luggage from the airline company or the airport rental company. The luggage will then be taken to the local authorities for verification. Then it will be stored for several days before it is transported to Netherland via rail or road. Some airlines such as Air Canada, WestJet Airlines, Air New Zealand and Air Canada Express will provide transport by road to the main cities in the Caribbeans. In contrast, other airlines provide transport by rail to other Caribbeans, for example, Grande Cayes, St Martin and Aruba.
